scope of work

following a successful tender, our team undertook this transformational project – focusing on a full refurbishment of the reception and waiting area.

after stripping out existing banquettes, we installed stylish new seating, supplied and installed a meeting pod and meeting space, modernised the reception desk with power and data provisions, fully decorated the area, replaced the café serving counter, and supplied raised beds for internal courtyards.

challenges faced

due to covid restrictions and the need to avoid public interaction, we conducted the works at night.

the project also required our team to be responsible for securing the building at the end of each shift.

additionally, we prioritised leaving areas clean and tidy for daytime use.

outcome

our talented and ambitious team were able to modernise the centre, allowing it to serve the local community with improved and varied services.

for example, the raised beds facilitated group gardening sessions, while the updated facilities provided internet access and a dedicated meeting space, enhancing the overall functionality and appeal of the reception area.
