scope of work


our team secured a significant NHS PS tender for capital projects in the Oldham & Rochdale area. this encompassed multiple tasks, including the removal and replacement of an existing cycle store that was deteriorating. additionally, we upgraded the health centre car park by resurfacing, remarking parking bays, and installing new external signage.


we also replaced the health centre rooflights to improve ventilation and undertook an internal fit-out of a shower room for staff cyclists. furthermore, we replaced an external fire escape door with a new steel door, incorporating necessary alterations to the suspended ceiling.








challenges faced


executing these projects within a live health centre environment posed several challenges. we had to ensure continuous patient safety and minimise disruption, requiring meticulous coordination of deliveries and site clearance to maintain clear access to pathways and fire escape routes.


it was also essential to time the car park upgrades and rooflight replacements during specific operational windows, so that our team could align with health centre operations and – often unpredictable! – weather conditions.
